Spices.....Spices......and more Spices!
Posted on 8:10 AMby Ron SIngh with 1 comment
Oh the sights, sounds and smells of India awaken every sense. This is what I was immersed in while in India! I loved every bit of it. On one excursion we had gone shopping to the famous Chandni Chowk where anything and everything is available!
This is where I saw just a tiny corner of the Spice Market.......every sense was delighted! You could feel it in the air......smell it around the corner and the sight was incredible!
These images are just a few and will only give you a glimpse of that day!

Bandi Chhor Divas and a Happy Diwali.
Posted on 9:00 PMby Ron SIngh with No comments
This year we decided to really take a hands on approach to the Diyas for this evening. My husband had told me about in the villages in India that besides clay Atta(flour) was also used. So last week we began our preparations. This is the result! Warm wishes and love to all on these occasions. Let the lights bring a lasting flickr of joy to you all.
